HONORS PROGRAM

The Human Anatomy and Physiology Program at Orange Coast College (HAPP-OCC) HONORS PROGRAM was instigated in 1988. The program is designed to offer superior students the opportunity to further their education in a customized independent study format. HAPP-OCC Honors students work directly with a sponsoring instructor, who then interacts with the student in a wide variety of conditions. Prospective students can be identified by an instructor, or request entry into the program.

The HAPP-OCC Honors Program was integrated with the ORANGE COAST COLLEGE HONORS PROGRAM in 1998. Some HAPP-OCC Honors Program students can now benefit from the privileges and recognition inherent to participation in this campus-wide program. Students must apply for entry into this program.

There are four components of the Honors Program. These components are identified below, and further information about these components can be accessed via the appropriate hot spot.
